B90X: Day 12

Wow! Today's reading was great, too! Numbers 21:8 to Numbers 32:19. What did you all think of it? I liked it! :) Let's see who was paying attention and who skimmed, today, shall we?

  1. There was a snake, that Moses made. What was it's purpose?
  2. What was the snake made out of?
  3. To my knowledge, there are only two recorded cases of animals talking in the Bible. Can you think of them? (HINT: One we already read about and the other we read about today)
  4. After conquering the Midianites, the precious metals had to be put through a process to become ceremonially clean. What was it?
  5. What was blocking the donkey from going any farther along it's path?
And of course, yesterday's answers:

  1. Who did God claim as his own in Numbers 8:16? The Levites
  2. How did the Israelites know when to break camp and move the Tabernacle? A pillar of fire and cloud
  3. What happened after the Lord sent quail to fill the bellies of the gluttonous Israelites? What did God do? All that at the quail died.
  4. Why is Numbers 12:3 a hilarious passage? (YES, this means go look it up and read it again really quickly. It's one verse, you'll manage) Moses wrote the book of Numbers, and in it he calls himself the most humble man in the world. (Ok, at least I thought it was hilarious)
  5. What did God tell Moses and Aaron to do to get water to come out of the rock, and what did Moses do instead? He said to just talk to the rock, but instead Moses struck the rock.
